Saying that you don't need wireframes anymore "because, dude, we have Claude Design" is the reason why you are getting replaced.
You can't kill the artefacts that enable micro-nudges and key flow decisions (as early as in the problem space) and then complain you lost your job to a bot.

What's happening here is that you are settling for not having a voice; you are settling for not pushing back because it's uncomfortable. I get it.
But it's also your responsibility to do so, or you can also open your seat for someone that can.
You need to learn to push back and open space for "thinking mediums" and throw-away iterations in the product development process. That's your job, no one will do it for you.

Now, do you think human behaviour changed so much since October 2025 that now, just because you have Claude Design, a 75-year-old user with arthritis will not feel overwhelmed with your colourful hi-fi, move-move-move prototype and bias the test results?

These are people preaching nonsense to cover for the fact they are squeezed into the pixel factory.

As if the thinking layers, the iterations that give designers a voice early, don't matter?
Only a pixel-pusher would argue that we don't need user-behaviour-capturing devices "because we have a design system".
The fact you don't have the pull, voice or vote to propose a wireframe prototype is not reflective of wireframes' usefulness. 🤷♂️
